An Amateur Manifesto. My new column for Corante has been officially launched with this introduction. A little background story: The term Amateur, Latin... [Way.Nu]

I really like the scope and focus on this column.  I intend on adding it to my list of channels - as soon as there's an RSS feed!

I go way back with Jonathan - back when he was doing tools for CNN.  I had this crazy notion that television production teams should ALSO produce news for web portals at the same time - and then one day Jonathan calls.

We never did anything for CNN - but we DID build a cool tool for NOW.com - which was a hybrid TV/Web portal service.

And then I ran into Jonathan last year - and I've been tracking his stuff ever since.

The FYE Matrix at CentenaryWhat is real, and how do we tell?. via Seb's Open Research: This remarkable site uses The Matrix and Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" as jumping boards for asking many questions about the nature of reality, society, and culture. Very thought-provoking, provided you take the time to savour it. [Channel 'thematrix']

This is the first contribution I've received on my 'theMatrix' Internet Topic Exchange Channel - and who else from, but Sébastien Paquet!
