 FOAF

These three icons are now part of my blog home page. They provide my blog with some basic FOAF (friend of a friend) capabilities so anyone can:

- view my FOAF Explorer page

- ADD me as a FOAF friend to THEIR (that's you) page

- view my raw RDF-FOAF file

It ain't Friendster or Ryze - yet - but it can be!

I don't post enough images of my wife Lisa.  Here she is with her daughter - Mimi.

Had a great time at Jack Russo's house on Friday.

Yesterday Marc Barrot was in town - so we bonded and talked about WebOutliner & FOAFster.

And today - it's Dim Sum time - with Jim Collins.

Here's Jack, with Peter Winer (Dave's brother) and Jack's daughter - Danielle.

Machine-readable self. Ideas that tie in with Semantic Blogging etc :
Leigh's My Life in RDF and edd's notes: SemanticWebDashboard

I need to figure out how this would work in IdeaGraph [Raw Blog]

The more I dig into this FOAF stuff and learn more of what these RDF folks are up to - the more I like.  Turns our both Leigh Dodds and Edd Dumbill have real simpatico ideas to our DLA concept (digital lifestyle aggregators.)  It's one of those validating moments - sort of like when I met Mikel Maron and his MyRadio add-in tool.

There are so many pieces of the FOAF puzzle already in place.  Now it's time to get it all working together.  Here's a screen shot of Nat Friedman's dashboard project.
