Se dovessi dare un premio al miglior post informativo degli ultimi sei mesi lo darei a questo. Auguri agli esploratori del più fecondo mistero della terra, anche nel tuo giardino. Not every group of Indians there did this, but quite a few did, and over an extended period of time. ------------ Scientists should study the microorganisms in terra preta, Woods told me, to find out how they work. The amount of heat that flows annually from the Earth into the atmosphere is enormous- equivalent to ten times the annual energy consumption of the United States and more than that needed to power all nations of the world, if it could be fully harnessed. Geothermal power now accounts for about 28 percent of the electricity generated in the Philippines. With 90 million people, this country has become the world's largest consumer of electricity from geothermal sources. Loro, poveri, la usano. Noi ricchi (o illusoramente tali) no. A noi basta il gas (sempre più caro, via Eni) di Putin, e le favole nucleari (da anni 50). Un paese invecchiato, castale e disinformato produce politiche energetiche statiche, vecchie e ignoranti. ----------------- Si legga, per confronto quest'analisi recente dell'Us Geological Survey (lettura consigliata). La rivalutazione (sul 1978) delle risorse geotermiche accessibili Usa porta a una stima di un potenziale pari a 30 gigawatt a tecnologia esistente e 517 gigawatts (400 e passa centrali nucleari...) con tecnologie parzialmente da sviluppare (Egs). (per semplice confronto al 2006 la produzione elettrica via centrali a carbone è stata, negli Usa, di 313 gigawatts) Cifre eloquenti, mi pare. Toc, toc, Cnr? Istituto nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (Ingv) ? Dormite? -------------------- Scajola ci dice: 50% di fossili, 25% di rinnovabili, 25% di nucleare. Si dice: le rinnovabili non possono superare il 20%, dato lo status non ancora intelligente della rete elettrica attuale. Le rinnovabili (intermittenti) sono però tutte le rinnovabili? Ridicolo: le Filippine (e l'islanda) fanno già oggi il 30% di geotermico continuo (pienamente rinnovabile). E noi ne abbiamo al piano di sotto altrettanto. E abbiamo navi offshore (classe Castoro) capaci di trivellare pozzi a migliaia di metri sotto il mare (ma solo, e strettamente, per il gas e petrolio di lorsignori). Povera Italia, condannata alla povertà per colpa di quattro lobbies. ---------------- At early stages of development, geothermal energy has historically been dependent in most countries on high-risk, long-term investment made by governments, not private companies. (questo è il vero guaio per l'Italia, il suo futuro energetico è tuttora in mano alla casta) ---------------- Fratei, forza al remo....si fa come in Germania.....federalismo responsabile.... e.... energie naturali (e eterne) autentiche. Sono personalmente e leggermente stufo di cialtroni oggi al potere. Che sfruttano la nostra ignoranza (geologica, e ben costruita in decenni) per propinarci finta energia tossica, e profittevole come un titolo derivato dell'Unicredit, di Wall Street o della City di Londra.
