Billblog va alla guerra?

A parte il Blogrodeo, l'evento di oggi sembra essere l'ode al blog (e a RSS) pronunciata da Bill Gates di fronte ai CEO di Micorsoft:
Another new phenomenon that connects into this is one that started outside of the business space, more in the corporate or technical enthusiast space, a thing called blogging. And a standard around that that notifies you that something has changed called RSS.
Steve Rubel accosta il discorso di ieri alla famosa lettera del '95, quella che Gates inviò ai suoi per dare inizio alla 'guerra dei browser' (dopo aver finalmente capito che Internet era una cosa seria, aggiungiamo noi):
The potential murkier side of the story is that underneath the softer bloggier side that Bill Gates showed today was a veiled declaration of war on Six Apart, Userland, Google and anyone else who makes blogging and wiki publishing tools. Did Bill Gates throw a pebble in the blogosphere pond today? Time will tell.

Fateci caso. Quando si commentano le statistiche sull'Unione Europea e si mette immancabilmente in luce la figuraccia italica, quasi sempre scatta a mo' di consolazione un bel "Peggio di noi solo Grecia e Portogallo" (talvolta la Spagna). Beh, come volevasi dimostrare, anche su pirateria musicale e affini, manteniamo la tradizione: Grecia, il carcere per acquirenti CD pirata.
