A step forward for blogging in Italy

Italian blogger Marco Montemagno scored a coup when he became the first blogger invited to host a news show on Italian television. Montemagno - who looks like he just stepped out of a Gianni Versace ad - runs the bushkerry.com blog, giving an Italian take on the U.S. election.
He is appearing on the Italian Sky Tg 24 News television channel, and there's a link to video of the first show here. Says Montemagno: "It's the first time that an Italian TV news channel is using the web - and blogs - as an information source, and it's really an important step forward for blog and bloggers here in Italy."
